I am not exactly very happy with Jimmy right now because of his whole summer tour thing, but I am very excited that I may have a lead on 2 lawn tickets that I was unable to get when the tickets went on sale. And I think that they aren't going to be quite as much as I have paid for scalped tickets in the past! I think I can deal with the concert being not on the 4th of July weekend, because I have another tradition that happens that weekend. I am more disappointed with the Wed. night part of the show. Thursday would be better, but a Wed.??? I need to get Jimmy to realize this isn't right... I guess I just have to take a half-day off work, I might just have to be sick, to properly tailgate, Buffett style!
Oh yea, by the way, for those of you who don't know me... you will have to get used to me referring to Jimmy like we are best friends. That's just my obsession speaking. I would love to hang out and be friends with Jimmy because he has such a cool lifestyle and does so many fun things.
A few weeks ago he was down in the Caribbean, just cruising around and he stopped in a bar and played a few songs. Just Jimmy, his guitar, and his barefeet. I am so jealous of the people who were there that night. I think that is my dream evening, just a few people, a bunch of drinks, and Jimmy with his guitar.
Back to reality, I am just going to have to live with seeing him in Va this summer, on a Wed. albeit. He really needs to get on the ball and put out a full length DVD, or multiple DVD's, of his live concerts. Because we all know he won't be playing forever....
