The Penguins came to town last night for their first of 2 visits to the MCI Center. I was able to get 2 good tickets on Wednesday. The place was the most packed that I have seen all season, and as usual, there were tons of Pens fans! The game was great! The first period was pretty well dominated by the Caps, but the Pens were kept in it by some excellent goaltending by Fleury. There was some good fighting also! The Pens then began to walk away with it and were up 5-0 at one point. In the 3rd round of Crosby vs. Ovechkin, the prize goes to Sid, for the 3rd time. I got tickets to the next time they come to town in March, so I will be looking for a clean sweep by the Pens on the season.
The night just go more exciting from there though. Tod and I went to Rhino bar where some friends of his were having a $25 all you can drink party. As we all know from the Fridays at McFadden's, those can be dangerous. Managed to get into a little bit of trouble, ;) and had a great time! Definitely what I needed to prepare for Grant and Russ's visit next weekend!!
