GW and the Nats

What do GW baseball and the Washington Nationals have in common?

The starting pitcher for tonight's game! Mike O'Connor is coming off a good start against the Cardinals where he didn't get much run support. He was voted the Nationals Minor Leaguer of the year for 2005. Despite the fact that he is only in the majors because of Patterson's injury, he seems to be making the most of it. Let's hope he can keep the momentum going! Go GW and the Nats!

I love me some baseball. Headed to my first game of the season this weekend. Yes yes a bit slow in the uptake here but I am just starting to remember how much I enjoy the games and how easy it is to go.

And the first softball game of the season is tomorrow-I hope it doesn't rain....

do you play on a team in VA?

Awesome! I am headed to the game on Sat. night against my Bucos. I'll be in my old school Van Slyke jersey.

Hopefully you'll be able to get in you first game. We had great weather last night for our 3rd loss. I did hit a homerun though... We play on the ellipse and by the reflecting pool.
